Vettel to get new engine for China

Sebastien Vettel will dip into his engine account and will replace his engine that failed at the Bahrain Gp.

Software failure was the ultimate problem for the failure. "A software failure meant that a problem arose during the formation lap at low revs," a Ferrari spokesman explained to GPUpdate.net, when asked about the problem. "[It was a] very unlikely combination of circumstances, but eventually one valve broke, so we're looking at replacing the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) for China." Five power units throughout the 21-round is permitted to each driver on the grid. Penalties will apply to those who surpass the limit at any stage of the season.

It has also been announced that Formula 1 is set to return to the 2015-style qualifying format from the third round of the season, the Chinese Grand Prix.
